                Varicose vein closure<\/span><\/h2>\n

                A 52 year old male underwent an elective varicose vein procedure with stripping of the saphenofemoral vein and ligation of the sapheno-popliteal vein of the left leg. The 4.5cm incision was closed using LiquiBand\u00ae Surgical S after absorbable subcutaneous sutures were used to close the deep layers. No pre-operative antibiotics were used.<\/p>\n
